Rock Block

Next Rock Block Session begins March 26th, 2011

Rock Block is a month by month, no contract, music education program where students learn the art of playing music through the experience of playing in a band. Once a student has applied they will be placed in a band based on the instrument they play, their experience, and availability.

Students then have an hour and a half band practice, each at the same time with the same band manager. Bands choose what music they want to play, if they want to write or work on cover songs, what their name will be, and all other things that go into making a band.

Rock Block is the most affordable and exciting way to learn and grow as a musician. Seats are limited so do not miss out on your opportunity to join.

Filmmaking equipment...lights, booms, mics, cameras.
Art supplies of all kinds....acrylic paints, water colors, screen printing paint s, drawing paper, canvases, pencils, paint brushes and clay….these supplies get used up REALLY fast!
Theatre stuff....props, costumes, set construction materials....and volunteers! We need theatre people!

That’s right, a large portion of the purchase price of any and all specialty license plates sold by the state of Tennessee goes into the Tennessee Arts Commission’s fund from which they make grants to nonprofit arts organizations. And when sales are down, as they are now in this slower economy, then grant funds are down as well.
