Year-Round Music Programming

Advanced Rock Block

Advanced Rock Block is designed for adolescents ages 10-17 who are either members of an established Rock Block band or have their own band that already has experience rehearsing and playing shows. At Advanced Rock Block these bands will be given the opportunity to take their bands to the next level with the help of an experienced band manager and instructor. Bands will learn how to book their own shows, market and promote themselves, design logos, gig posters, t-shirts, and other band merchandise, and all other facets of DIY band promotion and booking. Bands will further have the opportunity to learn advanced musical skills such as music theory, improvisation, and collaboration techniques.
Best of all, all bands will book and play a mini-tour and produce their own music video! All bands will also have access to YEAH’s Equipment Library and will be able to borrow all necessary gear to outfit their own practice space, such as drum kits, PA’s, and any other gear they may need.Advanced Rock Block runs for 12 2-hour sessions.
