Saturday—Rock Block! Our signature year round music program that teaches music in a collaborative band setting and culminates in a Rock and Roll showcase. Rock Block takes place every Saturday at Central Magnet School in Murfreesboro, and at Fanny’s House of Music in Nashville. $80/8 week session. To register click here.
**NEW** Advanced Rock Block!: Advanced Rock Block is designed for adolescents ages 10-17 who are either members of an established Rock Block band or have their own band that already has experience rehearsing and playing shows. At Advanced Rock Block these bands will be given the opportunity to take their bands to the next level with the help of an experienced band manager and instructor. 12 -2hours sessions. The CATT and General Classes

Tuesday—Videography classes, $200/8 week session, to be taught by Michael Mallicote, degreed and professional filmmaker and musician.
Thursday—Acting 101, free, to be taught by Pat Blankenship–4:00-5:00 p.m., at Central Magnet School
Thursday – Advanced Acting, free, taught by E. Roy Lee –4:00-5:30pm., at Central Magnet School
Thursday–Recording Arts Classes—$200/8 week session, to be taught by the professional sound engineers at The Walnut House, including Belmont professor Nathan Adam, located at 161 Walnut Street, Murfreesboro, at 6:00 p.m.
The videography classes and the recording arts classes will both be set up with two meetings per week, one with the entire group of students who are registered for the classes, and will be designated as “instructional,” and then a second meeting that same week in small groups in classes that will be designated as “labs,” so that the students actually get as much hands on experience with the state of the art equipment as possible. Those class meetings will be scheduled as agreed between instructors, parents and students, depending on the days of the week and the times that are most convenient for all.

YEAH! is a local youth arts organization dedicated to providing experiences in the arts for young people ages 10-17, believing that the arts and performance can empower youth to become creative, productive and confident members of our community. YEAH! strives to create a connected creative community.
Central Magnet School is located at 701 East Main Street, Murfreesboro, Tennessee. The Mission of Central Magnet School is to challenge each student, teacher and parent with the high expectations of a challenging curriculum; to provide students with a rigorous educational program in a collaborative setting, with emphasis on mastery of academics, critical thinking, effective communication skills, and character development. Central Magnet is a Rutherford County middle/ high school, and Dr. John Ash serves as its principal.
The Walnut House is a live audio/video production company, recording studio and event facility, and is located at 116 N. Walnut Street in Murfreesboro, TN.
